The Go-between project is the name given to a major piece of work being undertaken by CAT. The aim of The Go-between Project is to find out if everyone in Calne and its surrounding villages has access to transport. The project also ensures that local people know about their available travel options.

CAT volunteers visit residents in their neighbourhood with a travel information pack (which usually contain some freebies) in return for participating in a short travel survey.
The CAT committee has discovered neighbourhoods and villages with unmet travel need and negotiated solutions with the Local Transport Authority (Wiltshire County Council) in four pilot areas carried out during the summer of 2004.
CAT also discovered ways of marketing the Connect2Wiltshire better for instance making improvements to information and by spreading the word. Read more in our newsletter.
