The new Rail Passengers Council is now up and running. If you want to complain about any aspect of the rail service, anywhere on Britain's rail network - telephone enquiries, on trains or at stations - there are two stages:
Firstly, contact the company operating the service, train or station. The Rail Passenger's Council cannot become involved in individual cases unless you have been in touch with the company concerned first.
If you have already been in touch with the company providing the service or operating the train or station and feel that you have not received a satisfactory response, you can ask the RPC appeals body to help sort out the complaint. Their website can be found at www.railpassengers.org.uk
